From Business Plus:

The Outdoor Media Association (OMA) has appointed Aoibhín Lennon as OMA Director.

Lennon, previously a business director at Core, will oversee the association’s development across a range of initiatives within the Irish outdoor sector.

Her experience spans multiple media companies in Ireland and Australia including Vizeum, Zenith Optimedia and Mediacom.

The OMA is the representative body for outdoor advertising companies in Ireland, representing out of home (OOH) companies, promoting the benefits of the medium of outdoor, and ensuring high professional standards across the sector.

Member companies include media owners Clear Channel, Global and JC Decaux, alongside OOH media specialists PML Group and Talon

“I am delighted to take on the role of OMA Director and I’m excited to work with the association members to help shape the future of outdoor media in Ireland and to drive growth in the sector,” said Lennon.

“I look forward to helping brands and agencies realise the enormous value that OOH presents.

OMA president Colin Leahy commented: “Significant and exciting developments are taking place in outdoor advertising across the island of Ireland, delivering fresh opportunities for brands in audience reach and engagement.

“Aoibhín will spearhead the strategic direction and future development of our industry, helping secure the positive impact our medium makes on marketing communications for our advertising clients.”
